Sicely 2007

After the invitation of the vice-president of the International Wushu Federation (IWuF), San Gregory Ricardo, the 1st International Traditional Wushu Tournament took place, from the 29th to the 31st of April 2007, in Catania (Sicily), under the impressive eruptions of the Etna volcano (that happened to be active during that period).
The tournament was addressed to athletes of all ages and had a friendly character, confirmed by the athletic spirit of all participants. The aim was to be established at a yearly base.
We had the chance to meet impressive athletes, some of which we had already met in China, during the 2nd World Wushu Championship. We also met new athletes, with zest and interest for Wushu.
The General Officer of the International Wushu Federation (IWuF), Mr Wang Xiao Lin attended the tournament and honoured us with his presence.
